WHAT WE'RE About

What we believe
-
There is one God and Lord of all. He is the beginning and the end of all things as Creator God. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Revelation 22:13)

-
Jesus was literally God in the flesh. (John 1:1-5+14)

-
Jesus died for the sins of the world and raised from the grave to give those who put their faith and trust in Him eternal life. (John 3:16; 1 Corinthians 15:4)

-
Jesus will come again to judge the living and the dead. (Revelation 22:12; 1 Peter 4:5)

-
The Bible is the inspired Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

-
Jesus gives His followers His literal presence as our Counselor and Comforter to be with them forever, His Holy Spirit. (John 14:15-18; John 16:7-11)

-
Every single person is separated from God outside of Jesus Christ because all have sinned, and Jesus is the only way to find salvation. (Romans 3:22-24; Romans 6:23; John 14:6)

-
Jesus Christ is the only one that can save us from the penalty of our sins (eternal death) and reunite us to our creator God (eternal life). (John 14:6; 2 Corinthians 5:17-21)

-
Jesus is the only one who can save us, and our response to that truth must be to put our faith and trust in Him as Lord, repent of our sins, and be baptized, which is where we identify with Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection that saves us. (Ephesians 2:8-10; Acts 2:38-39; Romans 6:3-4)

-
Jesus calls those under His Lordship to remember His body and blood that was given for us on the cross until He returns again. This is commonly referred to as the Lord’s Supper or Communion. (Matthew 26:26-30; Luke 22:14-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)

-
The church is Jesus’ body in action here on earth, therefore you cannot be fully committed to Christ without being fully committed to a local church. (Ephesians 1:22)

-
When we die, or when Jesus returns again on judgement day (whichever comes first), those who have put their faith and trust in Jesus as their Lord will join Him in all of His perfection and glory forever (eternal life). Those who have rejected Jesus as Lord will be eternally separated from God (hell). (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Matthew 25:31-46)
